Changing your academic goal is a simple process and requires only the completion of this form. Although simple, it may have unintended consequences for you as a student. Courses that are not required for your new academic goal may not be eligible for Financial Aid. Before making this change, it is important that you:
- Complete Math/Writing placement or show equivalent coursework.
- Meet with your faculty advisor or navigator.
- Speak with a financial aid specialist if you are receiving federal or state financial aid.
- Speak with BMCC's certifying official if you are receiving veteran's tuition assistance.
Requests are processed at the end of the current term only. Changes are effective for the upcoming term.
